Do not be hasty when reading the holy prayers. Haste can demean the prayers. Hurried and indistinct reading is not apprehended by the ears, minds, and hearts of those listening. catching the content of the prayer. However, a proper balance is necessary. In contrast, it is important that one not drag out the reading needlessly by reading too slowly. The tempo of the reading is best to be peaceful, natural, unhurried.
