This publication is an extension of the book “The Psalter According to the Seventy (that is, The Septuagint), Ecclesiastical Text” (Third Edition) Translated by Vivian Maria Hartley, M. A. Blessed for use in the Archdiocese of Canada (The Orthodox Church in America) Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, 2000/2009/2012.

This publication presents the Psalter with a translation faithful to the meaning of the Greek original, and in accordance with the format of the Psalter as used in Orthodox Christian countries. It includes many footnotes.

The expanded and noted format of the Psalter According to the Seventy as presented here includes the verses of these psalms, with many more notes, commentaries, and cross-references.
