Verbitsky is also spelt Verbivtsi.

The Temple itself stands in ruins, and there have been no services within it for the past 50 years.

The graveyard with approximately 25 graves is maintained by family members of the deceased.

There are annual prayers in the cemetery, during the warm weather, and at other times when requested.

Cemetery burials

This cemetery is a part of the Deanery of Saskatchewan-Manitoba-Nunavut, of the Archdiocese of Canada, of The Orthodox Church in America. The dean is the Archpriest Gregory Scratch. The bishop is Archbishop Irénée (Rochon).

The cemetery is supervised from Saint Mark's Orthodox Church in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.

In 2017, the priest in charge of the cemetery is the Archpriest Rodion Luciuk.
